Dr. Mitchell Ng is a founding partner at Hippocrates Opportunities Fund. He is a Spine Surgery Fellow at Rothman Orthopaedics, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was formerly academic chief resident in orthopedic surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn NY.
As research chief, he has published 215 papers, 400+ abstracts/podiums, and 5 textbook chapters to date. He is a reviewer and on the editorial board of several leading medical and orthopedic journals, including The Spine Journal, Journal of Spine Surgery, Spine, The Journal of Arthroplasty, and Arthroplasty. He serves as a medical consultant for 18 medical device companies such as Stryker, VB Spine, and Johnson and Johnson. He is co-founder and managing partner of Thessalus Capital, a healthcare investment firm/family office investing in options featured in Forbes, Bloomberg and CNBC. Mitchell previously served as a junior analyst at Ferghana Partners, an investment bank specializing in life sciences and specialty chemicals, and now is a medical affairs advisor.
Dr. Ng received his B.A. from Princeton University, majoring in molecular biology and graduating with honors. He received his M.D. from Case Western School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors in research.
